Early access terms.

BARSONIC provides coaching feedback on rap performances. You upload a verse and receive a written report covering flow, pocket and timing, rhyme, delivery, writing and songcraft.

This is an early-access version. Analyses are currently produced with human expert input while the automated coaching engine is being developed. Nothing here claims that automated audio analysis currently exists.

You retain all rights in everything you submit. Submitting a verse grants us a narrow, revocable permission to store and process that material for the single purpose of producing your analysis. Nothing more.

If you tick the optional dataset consent box, that permission extends to using anonymised measurements and coaching labels derived from your submission to improve the coaching system. It never extends to publishing, distributing or licensing your recording.

• You own the material you submit, or you have permission from whoever does.
• Submitting it to us does not breach anyone else’s rights, including any sample clearances on your instrumental.
• You will not submit material that is unlawful or that you have no right to share.

A report is one coach’s informed opinion about a performance. It is not a guarantee of any commercial, artistic or career outcome, and it is not a substitute for your own judgement about your own work.

We coach the intention you tell us about. Where a choice is deliberate and musical, we aim to say so rather than flatten it toward some arbitrary definition of correct rap.

This version is free and experimental. It is provided as is, without warranties. We do not promise a turnaround time, uninterrupted availability, or that any particular feature will continue to exist.

We may need to stop the service or delete data. Where we can give notice, we will. Keep your own copies of anything you upload.

You can stop using the service at any time. Email hello@example.com to have your material deleted. We may decline or remove a submission that appears to breach these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
